About Me
Long before it was popular to discuss the connection between body, mind and spirit with health, I was living the life of a healer and teacher of alternative medicine. Born in Hong Kong, China into a family of healing, and raised in Canada, I was taught Chinese Tui Na (a 2,000 year old system of Chinese bodywork massage therapy) and Tai Chi (a mind-body practice often referred to as a “meditation in motion”) by my Grandfather at an early age.
I began her career as a Registered Nurse and a health counselor. My studies eventually led her to get a degree in Acupuncture at the Beijing International School of Acupuncture. Following that I received a Doctorate in Energy Medicine. My passion has been to use all of her skills to empower and transform people’s lives through her work, which includes Success Coaching, Feng Shui and the World of Womin Conference in 2004.
While working in the United States, I was a teacher of alternative medicine and wholistic healing at Pima College and University of Arizona. I also held similar positions at Unitec and Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in New Zealand.
From 2004 to 2006, I was the editor of New Zealand’s former “InTouch” Magazine, which reported on news of alternative health, interviewed leading-edge spiritual and new age speakers and authors, highlighted area conferences on health, transformation, intuitive arts and self-help skills. I have also been an international speaker on health and self development and was a speaker at New Zealand’s largest healing convention, the New Spirit Festival, for eight consecutive years.
The author of two books with a third one on its way, and 26 published articles, I was also Honorary Contributing Editor for Australasian Health and Healing Magazine before returning to the United States. Since her return in 2007, she was also the editor of Love in Santa Fe magazine. Love in Santa Fe became a leading local source of information about life, love, mind, body, self-empowerment, spirituality, relationships and global events.
I currently lives with my husband in Albuquerque, New Mexico and am now dedicating my time to the founding of the Seven Hills Health Expo (SHHE) in Lenox, Massachusetts. Each year SHHE will bring together top-notch speakers from around the world in the areas of alternative health and self-empowerment twice a year (both in April and November) to East Coast residents.
