About Me

Rainbow Kids Yoga was founded by yoga teachers Gopala Amir Yaffe and Katya Fialkova in 2007, with the intention of giving as many people as possible the tools to teach fun, engaging, and creative yoga classes for children and families.

Expanding to 200-Hr Family Yoga trainings, Family Yoga Retreats, Partner Yoga Trainings, as well as keeping our original 3-Day Kids & Family Yoga Teacher Trainings, we are super excited to offer a variety of uniquely family-focused yoga trainings.

Our growing, incredible family of Senior Teachers help Rainbow Kids Yoga continue to train many wonderful teachers around the world.

More About Me

Location: London, Greater London, England

My Philosophy On Life: OUR MISSION: To promote health and wellbeing in children and adults in a fun and supportive environment To honor the ancient teachings of Yoga and uphold the integrity of the traditional practice, while allowing room for playfulness and individuality To make this knowledge as accessible as possible by offering scholarships, financial aid, and work exchange To extend our vision by supporting local organizations that help children and families, as well as projects for peace To train amazing yoga teachers for kids, worldwide! The Rainbow Kids Yoga Style: Yoga is a great way for kids to increase awareness of themselves, others, and the world, while having fun! Yoga is a wonderful way for children to stay (or become) confident, strong, balanced, and healthy. Yoga engages a child's natural, boundless energy, and conveys valuable lessons in positive thinking, body and mind awareness. We believe that kids learn best when they’re having fun! Each Rainbow Kids Yoga class is alive with magical journeys where we meet with animals, fly an airplane or drive a car, grow into a tree, or imitate the ocean waves, all in the form of dynamic yoga poses. We use music and song, lots of silly props, games, stories, relaxation and visualization, meditation, Mandala painting and more. The kinesthetic, aural, visual, intra- and interpersonal aspects of each class help keep kids involved and focused while having fun.
