About MeI was lucky to know from an early age that I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others. I saw how both my mother and grandmother improved their community, and wanted to continue the tradition of making a life-changing difference.
After graduating high school I enrolled in at the Midwest Institute of Natural Healing in Kansas City, Missouri to become the second generation in my family to practice Body Somatic Therapy. I loved discovering how our tissues work together to keep us healthy and flexible, and how easily injuries in one area can quickly impact our body as a whole.
While in school for Body Somatics, I learned of a remarkable training program in Wholistic Energy Healing. This program was able to expand my foundation of understanding in how we heal and helped me understand how vital our lifestyle can be in staying well. Wellness is not something we must visit a doctor for when we are ill, it is an active lifestyle based on self-understanding.
After completing that program, I decided to take my study of the human body one step further. My Holistic Nutrition training managed to draw together everything I had previously learned. There I learned that it is not only the foods we feed our bodies, but also the environments and emotions we feed our bodies that create our state of heath. Perhaps the most valuable lessons I learned in this program was how to effectively share information with others through public speaking and community classes.
