A Prepared Mind is more than an open mind, beyond readiness,
accept the unacceptable, sometimes there is no answer
science will never capture the answer as long as it believes there is one
The answer is within you
Life has extremes
Many books have been written about life
Many poets penned sonnets on strife
Artists paint images about the perfect life
Song writers sing about drugs and insights
Scientists explore what is possible and what is not
Doctors tell us,” take this pill” in time, you will be alright
Psychologists tell us to question why
Our mothers tell us our life will be fine
In school we are told all you need is a job
Study hard, learn in school
Be good, and you will be fine
Then someone says only the good die young
So what does that mean?
By now I want to scream
What no one tells you in school?
Life has extremes
Sometimes you run before you walk
Sometimes you cry before you talk
When you are born you get a slap on the back
When you are old you can go to jail for that
When you are young sitting on grandpa’s lap was fun
Now you can’t trust anyone
You don’t say hello to stranger
What was once polite can not be done
God has become a bad word
The word God excludes those who don’t believe
Anyway who believes in the church these days?
So what do we do?
What can we say?
No wonder everyone’s depressed
If we all have rights then nobody’s wrong
Can we all be right?
Are we all wrong?
Pills are not the answer
Science should stop looking for the facts
The answer lies with us
Believe me that is a fact.
It is all what we want to be
It is all what we see
If we see the dark side of life
We will never see beyond the trees
Our choices will be limited
Our life will not be free
If we listen to others
We will never feel at ease
Life is a drive
Sometimes in luxury
Sometimes in a bomb
At times you ride will be smooth
People in the street will stare
They will say “how cool”
Other times you will hit bumps
There may be times you even crash
Those same people will stare
This time they will say “how sad”
Where is God when you need Him?
Why do we suffer when alive?
Healing is hard
