About Me

I use my expertise in behavioural profiling to support individuals both in business and their personal lives to better understand themselves.

My 13 year old son has recently been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (AS).

I am raising awareness of this Autistic Spectrum Disorder through becoming involved with a new West WIltshire branch of the NAS in the UK (NAS = National Autistic Society) and offering free talks on the subject with particular reference to understanding different personality types and how they can better interact with each other and especially how individual behaviour can have different results when communicating with AS children and adults.

Hi Elaine. My eldest son was diagnosed just over 2 years ago with a-typical asperger syndrome and dysphasia. He's now nearly 22. So I'd be interested in knowing what you've learned through being a mother to a son with asperger syndrome. We're struggling, but are happy to be part of DART in Stourbridge. We also have a Downs son of 17. An interesting contrast. What a journey, eh? Thank you for the work you do. Helle x

Hi Elaine,
Not sure if you would have heard of Phillip Day but it may be worth having a look at his website. He is a health researcher and journalist and has helped lots of people with various diseases including cancer and also forms of autism/adhd etc. He is one of the only authors that you can actually call and speak to him personally (i think between 9am-12pm). Just wanted to give you the details as it may be of some interest. its www.phillipday.com - let me know what you think
take care
gillian
