About Me

* Reporter for weekly newspaper
* Editor for national magazine
* Co-Publisher (with Anna) of national magazine
* Columnist for magazines in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa
* Writer of 6 published books
* Professional freelance writer

I am a writer with business qualifications and experience. It goes like this ...

I am a qualified accountant and have been an accountant, company director and business owner.

Then I was a university lecturer, business coach and corporate trainer for around 11 years.

Then I turned to writing ...

I was a newspaper reporter.

Then I was editor and then publisher (owner) of a national, monthly magazine for several years so I have full competence in graphic design, layout and print-ready copy for printers.

I have published 13 books (6 I wrote myself) which were distributed to book stores in 3 countries.

My wife and I recently created 2 websites and I wrote 2 e-books and an e-course for those sites - www.bbcorp.info & www.personaldevelopmentacademy.org

So, in business, I have studied it, done it, taught it and written about it!

With writing, I have done books, magazines, e-books, courses, e-courses and all the SOE stuff needed for websites.What more would you want?

Hi Angela,
Gosh, you're the first person to comment and I didn't know people could comment! Thanks.

I'm also reminded of a quote by Spike Mulligan:
I don't understand those people who wake up and say they had a good sleep. How do they know? They've been asleep!

Lol, love your quote. I once had a conversation with my Osteopath on the topic His mother in law was suffering dementia. I said 'think I'll take the pills' he said 'trouble is.... by the time you need them, you'd have forgotten what for!!' :)
