Hi Jon. That's part of the 'debate', as more authors jump on the bandwagon. (A few years back, there were next to no books on the subject; now there's loads, as we get closer to the date.) The Maya called it the "end time" as each "world" finished, and a new world was ushered in. The Mayan fifth world finished in 1987, and the sixth world beings in 2012, at the winter equinox. We are inbetween worlds, in the "apocalypse", or change/revealing - both individually, and collectively. This means it will be a period of significant change for many folk on the journey. Time is also speeding up or as some say, collapsing. The pulse/heartbeat of Earth as been 7.83 cycles per second for thousands of years, as measured by the Schumann Resonance. The military have used the Schumann Resonance as a calibration tool for a long time, due to its reliability and stability. Here's the interesting bit - since 1980 this resonance has been slowly rising and is currently now over 12 cycles per second! This equates to the equivalent of less than 16 hours per day compared to the old 24 hours. People often comment how time seems to be speeding up! As I understand it, our resonance and Earth's are coming closer together, culminating in 2012, meaning we are closer to being on the same wavelength. Fascinating stuff, and from the same Maya that somehow managed to create anatomically accurate crystal skulls that would be difficult to achieve with a diamond drill today. Then, they only had 'stone age' technology, so how were they supposed to achieve that??!! Just goes to show how much we don't know about previous civilisations. Quote |
