Now this is extremely interesting! :)

Check this out - do you see this dancer turning clockwise, anti-clockwise, or alternating?

I have seen this on a couple of other forums and find it fascinating. I'm not sure how it works, as the dancer keeps changing for me yet others find her only going one way. I'm not convinced that it is right brain/ left brain though, but I really don't know.

How rude! She's not wearing any clothes! :)

She only turns clockwise for me. My brain doesn't have a left side.

Clock-wise for me only too - tried to alter my focus to see it going other way but not able to - does this mean that we both only have 1/2 a brain Anne? Oh dear - now its confirmed - thanks Helen! :)

Cool link Helen thanks and really interesting.
For me the dancer was only going anti-clockwise and then I got a bid fed up because I couldn't move her the other way so I just read some of the page and when I looked back at her again she was going clock-wise for me. Soooooooo...I would say that having shifted my brain to concentrate on reading something and take in the information I had shifted from R to L hence the change when I looked at her again. Interesting.

Precisely Caz! It's not a matter of focus, but the way you're thinking at any given moment!! :)

Hi there

What a cool link. I saw it anti clockwise first thing this morning then after giving a couple of treatments today it was going clockwise.

Totally anti clockwise for me...until I looked at it upside down.

Does my creative approach count?

How fascinating!

This is so strange. When I first looked at her she was going clockwise, then she changed directions and went anti-clock wise.

Then the sceptic in me thought, oh yeah!?!!! I call in my husband and I asked what direction is this dancer turning... he said she's turning clockwise. I was watching her turn anti clockwise at the same time!!!

I can't 'intentionally' get her to change, although she spontaneously changes if I don't try.

Someone showed me this on another forum and I remembered you had it here.

Got all excited as I managed to get her to change direction several times. Now I am working on it stopping - though I can't hold it for long.
Can anyone else get her to stop?
How does it work? Is there a timetable set in. I can't really believe we are influencing it.

Yes, Clockwise for me too and I'm also left-handed..however, am going to try again after meditating and see how my brain changes....

My friend had a go at this and instead of trying to change the direction by using the brain they were extremely frustrated to find she didn't change direction each time they clicked on the mouse pad! Tee hee - not sure which side of the brain that was!

Generally clockwise for me although I have been able to get her to change directions. Not today though.
