Hi a random subject I know but this IS the general subject forum..
I have a Carmona Macrophylla bonsai and it's definately seen better days! My dad had to spray it for green fly and left it in his shed while we had the frost, and sadly all but two small branches are now leafless! I tried pruning some of the branches that seemed dried out and dead, and I am just hoping some tlc and reiki will help perk it up... Any suggestions? does it need a lot of light? and a warm room?

Cheers

Its probably reacting to being deliberately stunted all its life. Sorry if that sounds harsh, I just don't believe we should deliberately stunt nature.

That's a fair comment, but I don't really want to give up on it so if anyone can share some tips that would be great...

I hope the bonsai is still hanging in there.
I have a few bonsai trees, I have successfully grown from seed after many attempts.
they finally worked when I gave up all hope and dumped the pot in the greenhouse, little shoots finally came over a year after planting and now I have 8 trees all about an inch tall.
obviously these trees will survive if they want to, now I am caring carefully for them, but who knows maybe they prefer being ignored!
