Now this is going to be a bit of a' shock' to some .....especially after all my knocking of the American 'Miss Money bags '.......but I do the Lottery (...phew I ve said it) Yes.. its the government just getting us to fund things it should be funding . Yes...your chances are lousy. Yes..the prizes are all out of proportion. I agree but then you can argue.... if you do'nt put in you don't get out. That if anything its a much fairer way of having material differences between us .(whose more important... the Doctor or the Dustman ....but who gets paid the most). It doesnt involve weapons of mass destruction....nor does it contribute directly to Global Warming. If we are to enjoy a freeson of luxury in our lives why not through the harmless throw of luck. I think 'if' it was designed in such a way that the amounts were not 'obscene'...but more of them...then I dont see the harm. Having said that Im not happy at all with the way the government has been promoting gambling ...and the shadey characters it has given the nod to. So... is there a difference?.........what do you think?................and .....anyone want to make a syndicate up as Ive got this really good system!!!
