Hi all,

If I had known earlier i woul dhave given you guys the heads up on this one. Yesterday I watched "the legend of Bagger Vance".

Its about a youngish golfer Junah (matt Damon) who has "lost his swing" and along comes a guy called Bagger Vance (WIll Smith)who becomes his confidante and caddie.

Its a fantastic story, very uplifting and a good metaphor for life.

Whats also interesting is that is it an adaptation of the Bhagavad-Gita, the story of Arjuna and Bhagavan.

Watch it if you get a chance, its one of those movies that makes you feel good whenever.

Peace

Asif

Its not at all deep and heavy, it alludes to a lot of the teachings but keeps it SIMPLE for the hollywood AUDIENCE. I am not casting aspertions honest....

iTS JUST nice

I saw this was on and didn't bother at all with it. Wish I had now!

I'm a huge fan of the Bhagavad Gita. In fact sitting next to the computer I've got eight different translations and commentaries of it. And while probably far too premature to mention, I've also began writing a practical guide to the Gita. The Gita has been a companion of mine for about 15 years and I recommend it (though not the Hare Krishna version) to anyone who has an interest in the spiritual teachings to have come out of India.

Never imagined I would see Will Smith and Bhagavan Krishna mentioned in the same sentence! LOL

Om Shanti
Neil
