Yes Belly dancing is absolutly AMASING!! If you are self concious there are some DVD's out there or classes are popping up all over the place. The great thing is I WASN'T TRYING TO TONE UP OR LOOSE WEIGHT! I gave up and accepted my size 14 curves a long time ago! I love dancing a was interested in learning a cultural dance like Indian dancing or Salsa then i find an add for classes near where I live! You don't get your tummy out, its nothing provocative or weired it is a cultural dance appriciating femininity and I feel like a GOODESS!! My husband noticed my hips and tummy had shrunk, I thought he was being polite LOL. Then I realised all my clothes were getting loose on me. I tried on a size 12 trousers I had stashed in the back of the wardrobe that haven't fit for over 2 years and I nearly fell over with shock as they fit perfectly. I could actually breath in them!! LOL I was brave enough to get on the scales and not only have I toned up but lost half a stone as well!! I go once a week and maybe mess about a bit at home while cooking etc!! I have inspired one of the girls from work to join the class as I swear by it!! I HAVE TRIED THE GYM, AND EATING HEALTH BARS INSTEAD OF CHOCOLATE AND BISCUITS, I HAVE TRIED TONNING TABLES AND NOTHING MADE ANY DIFFERENCE UNTIL I DISCOVERED BELLY DANCING!! I enjoy it so much I am hooked. If its not for you the key is finding something that really interests and motivates you X Any other Belly dancers here i'd love to hear from you!!
