Barry Long has been a great help to me.

Here's a sample of his work...

"All love comes out of me. All this love comes out of me. And what is me? Me is the unknowable, in the first instance, inside this body - the stillness, the silence, in other words God, the unknown. Because you cannot know me, you can only be me. And being me is peace.

And you don't need any other body to be me, do you, like now? It's your body, but then me is your love. And all love of everyone and everything comes out of me because me is your love. Extraordinary, isn't it, that this love is only me?

Everything external - the whole universe, and that, of course, includes the beloved body of the man or woman - comes out of me. And therefore that love between the two bodies comes out of me. And so I have to go back to the source of love, which is me.

I have to love me. Now the more I love me, the more me disappears as anything. It's not an object. It's completely subjective, completely within. You can't objectify it because you can't describe it. You can say all the good about it: it is peace, it is still, it is silence. You could even say it is right. You could even say, perhaps, it is wondrous, it is amazing. You could say that in the stillness - when I am reflecting on it, I can say that.

Or I might even utter, when I am reflecting on it utterly and completely, like now, 'Thou are forever. Thou art amazing. Thou art wondrous. Thou art beautiful. There are no words I can adequately use to describe thee except in terms of the most beautiful, the most glorious and yet thou art nothing to speak of. And thou art inside of me. And thou art me. But I do not know thee, for to know thee I would have to objectify thee, I would have to use my mind to objectify thee and I can't do that; for there is no mind here, only pure perception. Pure perception of thee that has no attributes except the good, and the beautiful and the wondrous, that's all. Thou art forever.'
