Hi Asif

Welcome to Holistic Local. I'm up north too, but not quite as far as you! I'm from Leeds. Anyway, glad you found us, and I hope you find the site useful.

Warm regards

hi Asif, from a fellow northerner - in - spirit! I lived in Sheffield until I moved to Durham in 79, lived in the north east 25 years until finally shifting down here to Devon! Where I now have a family, one girl, and thanks she is fine. I used to run a natural health centre in Durham, some of you folks may even remember it, and I was one of the first homeopaths in that area. yes it's grim in some ways, but beautiful in others, friendly people, I miss the stunning countriside and the lovely accent.

hope you will be posting some jokes.

all the best
Helen Swan RSHom.

Hi Asif,

Welcome, and HowdoYado.

I lived in Leeds for a while as it happens - quite like the place actually. My son lives in Sunny Gildersome too, so I still have reason to visit.

Leicester is famous for more things actually, although that K.... word got me too. The great and famous Englebert Humpledinck is my neighbour here in Great Glen; we have Carly, and of course me!!!! Hehehehhehehee

And the only Bikram Yoga north of London!

As for golf handicap, its still 28 and increasing if it could, the greatest handicap really is me, but hey, when I figure out which way round One holds the clubs I am confident things shall improve. Maybe when I retire at 100.

Stay positive sunshine, I'm sure You have enough Light too de-grim the place!!

What an understatement! Having spent all of my work life in the corporate sector and to move into life transformation was a dream come true. Its so humbling to see someone fulfil their potential and make the positive change that sets them free. (i'm rambling now). But yeah, what a blast!

Nice to have met you Sarah! And Helen, Derbyshire is north or Watford so we'll let you join the club as well!

Life is like a box of chocolates, the orange creams taste like income tax.

"What an understatement" - the sign of a true northerner lol.

I hope life isnt a box of chocolates I did a like to dislike on them a while ago, replacing them with the obvious - poo! Yuk! lol

How sunny it has been up north these past few days, hope all you northeners are loving it - and you southerners too, but I think you are a bit more used to it than us ;)
