franchising, in the truest sense of the word, is really about ensuring, in the first instance, that you have a unique, systematised business that you can sell to someone else

there are many experts who can assist with this, and in your case, a visit to The British Franchise Association would probably be a good start.

You will need to not only work on your systems, but also on your selection criteria for franchisees, in order to ensure that the valuable reputation of your brand is not damaged by poor selection choice.

another way around this, without going down the full franchise route [which can be time consuming and expensive to get right] is to issue licenses for a fee and create a system of performance indicators to be fulfilled if the license is to remain in force
