Why did he do that????????????
Sorry David, didn't mean to confuse, it makes many posts seem totally incongruent.
This stikes me of petulance, what on earth got into him, to delete all his posts like that. Pretty childish.

He didn't take it too well when I told him I'd had a few complaints about the way he was conducting himself on the forum and I asked him to basically chill out a little bit. Instead of taking my advice he deleted all his posts and resigned as moderator.

And yes, very childish and very typical behaviour of self-proclaimed spiritual gurus when they realise you can see through their pretense.

I'm surprised he would react like that given his apparent level of openness and spirituality.

Maybe all was not what it seemed.

You always have to wonder just how spiritual someone really is when they can't take a simple piece of criticism. Deleting all of his forum posts and then cancelling his account smacks of a wounded ego to me. I find it sad that people don't always practise what they preach. Oh well.

PLEASE! "Egomaniac, loud-mouth or hypocrite?" refers to Jamie, not HL members.

Get back on thread if you will....

Well, I'm stunned, however everyone has to walk their own path, even Jamie O. By the way, how come there are so many monitors? (oops, probably not the right place to ask this).
Now Jamie O , from my point of view, in New Zealand, is fun and has a message, and I find that great. lets face it, he gets people talking about healthy eating, and thats a start.

I think if you're going to bring the idea of cost into it we should look at the entire budget of the parents saying this, as I know plenty of parents who claim they can't afford to buy the bestest food for their kids but funnily enough will find money to buy cigarettes, go to the pub, buy CDs/DVDs, expensive mobile phones etc. Even their kids mobile phones will cost £80 yet they will feed then cheap junk day after day cos apparently anything else is "too expensive"

I remember my own mother telling me (when I was about 10) I couldn't have a kiwi fruit as it was too expenive (18p) yet she was never without her packet of smokes.

I think, sad to say, that healthy eating is way down the list of most peoples prorities.

Personally I would rather go without 'cool stuff' and be able to eat my sexy organic diet ;-P

in tastiness and health!
