Is it just me or is there hardly anyone who knows of this amazing therapy? I am so excited typing this, I feel I have to tell everyone about my experience. You are probably thinking that I am quite mad!!? I had a bad riding accident that led to my pelvis constantly mis-aligning, causing sciatica and pain in my neck and right shoulder. After many alternative therapy treatments, including chiropratics, I came across Jo Lunn, a Bowen Practitioner and Teacher in Malvern, Worcs. After the first treatment the sciatica disappeared, (never to return!) and after 3 treatments I felt energised and myself again. I ended up looking on the internet for as much possible info as I could find and signing up for a part-time course learning Bowen with Jo. Here is where I have to say something about this lady - she is amazing. I have been on many professional courses during my career but none compare with the incredible vitality that Jo delivers information with. I worried about feeling stupid and not 'getting' Bowen and how it affects the human body. I needn't have worried. The courses are small and personal and there is so much support. I hope to qualify next year and once I feel confident and have established a good practice I intent to learn how to treat horses then dogs and cats. My dog loves receiving Bowen! Please take a look at Jo's website just to have an understanding of how this wonderful treatment works and help spread the word about Bowen. Lastly, I want to make it clear that I don't think Bowen is the answer to all our prayers but I am speaking from personal experience and know that it has really helped me and others in far worse conditions. Hi Jenny, it is great that you have benefitted so much from Bowen Technique. Yes, it is a fantastic therapy, and lots of people know about it. I have had Bowen for myself for a frozen shoulder and it worked wonders, it never returned. I refer many of my clients to a good friend of mine in Purley - Surrey, who is also a Bowen therapist. They have all benefitted too. It is so humbling to see people getting on with their lives again free of pain, after months, sometimes years of suffering; it makes the work so worthwhile and rewarding. Never ceases to amaze me about these wonderful, natural healing therapies that are now being made available to humanity.

I practice in Scotland as well as England and it seems to be much more well known here north of the border I find....we have an amazing guy up here who became my teacher a few years back - he treated my Mother for Fibromyalgia and shes never looked back since.
