About MeI am a proud mother of three teens ages 16, 17, & 19; 2 dogs and 4 cats. I live in the suburbs of Kansas City and have a degree in Graphic Arts and Illustration which I still do on the side. I also make costumes for any event as well as every day clothes, traditional and non (I do a lot of sewing for Goths, etc). I am Cherokee/Mattaponi on my fathers side and I am Scotch/Irish on my mothers side so I have an interesting mix to say the least. I am very eclectic and have a combined belief system from both of my backgrounds. I have been named a Dreamwalker by the Elders which is an interesting experiencing as I thought it was something everyone did when growing up. I am also an empath and I have synthesia which can make things fun too. I am also clairesentient and am just very sensitive to things around me. I am also a hopeless romantic and have a deep love for poetry with my favorites being Ella Wheeler Wilcox, Sarah Teasdale, Lord Tennyson, and so many more. I have recently (Jan '08) been diagnosed with severe Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain syndrome. I am happy to say I am down from 9 medications to one and herbal supplements. I keep most of it under control by a Vgan diet and eliminating foods that cause/worsen flare-ups. It is a challenge trying to get through each day with this pain, but I do it and plan on continuing to find out what helps without filling myself with chemicals.
