What does it mean to be a woman of faith in today's institutional church? What history, experience and gifts do we bring? What is the future for women as we strive for fuller participation? Addressing these questions/concerns, we shall focus on the following:
Session 1 Current reality of Church teaching and women's exprience.
Session 2 Reflection & analysis of the paradigm of patriarchal tradition and structure.
Session 3 Voices of women leaders in Church.
Session 4 Mission & Martyrs: Four Church Women
Session 5 Video: "Heart of Flesh: Spirituality for Women and Men," Joan Chittister, OSB
Sessions will include presentations, videos, related current events, prayer & handouts.
