Come immerse yourself in the spirit of Aloha for seven days on the Big Island of Hawai'i. This unique retreat will feature two of Hawaii's loved and honored kumu, Aunty Mahealani Kuamo'o-Henry and Kumu Hula Raylene Kawaiae'a. Ho'opono pono ke ala (making right more right the path), an introduction to the values and spirit of Hawai'i, will be taught by Aunty Mahealani. Kuamo'o-Henry, Kumu Hula Raylene Kawaiae'a, through her teachings and example, will offer you a deep understanding of the spiritual values that are the foundation of the cultural practices of chant and hula.
