Calling all Dancing Goddesses!
New Temple Bellydance classes are starting on November 26th, both a Level I class for beginners or dancers who want
to review, and a Level II class for dancers who have had some intro to bellydance movement. Classes are small, with a 10 person max per class, to insure that you get individual attention and to make it easier to bond as a group of women who enjoy being spiritual and moving together. These classes focus on learning to be present and drop into the moment while you dance. We focus on both technique AND on meditative movement, freeing the energies in your body, and healing yourself. Come join us for a unique experience in dance and spirituality!

Temple Bellydance Level I (Women Only)

at The Village Witch, North Park, San Diego
$95 per person, pre-registration required.
Open to all women, including women who never thought they could dance!
Imagine a safe and sacred environment where movement and prayer become one, and your body learns through inner experience to create movement and to heal its emotional and spiritual wounds. Bellydance is an ancient sacred art, and is a beautiful healthy way to experience your sensuality and reunite it with your sacred heart. Your body will discover new ways to awaken and move the sexual energy and to use that energy in any way you choose to create a passionate and deeply centered life. In this level I class, we will focus on opening and balancing the chakras by learning the eight basic movements of temple bellydance.

Temple Bellydance Level II ~ Chakra Balancing (Women Only)

starts Monday November 26th 8-9PM
at The Village Witch, North Park, San Diego
$95 per person, pre-registration required.
The class is an intermediate level, and is open to women who have taken my Level I or who have some experience of bellydance.
In Level II Temple Bellydance we go deeper. We begin by learning that each chakra movement can be embellished and expanded in its expression by adding shimmies, locks, bounces, figure eights, and spins. Then we begin to learn that way we move or body can express a particular mood, or emotion, or quality. Diving into this experience, we learn to dance the waters of our emotions, the fire of our passion, the lightness of our minds, and the strength of our bodies. Come join us for an unforgettable journey into the depths of each chakra.
