I have worked in the Allopathic (Medical Field) for over twenty-five years serving as manager of practices in the fields of Neurology, Plastic surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, and IPA Management. I presently work as a Business Manager for a Pulmonary Critical Care Practice and Sleep lab in San Clemente, CA.
I learned about Reiki through my daughter who was taking a Health Care Practitioner's Course. She would come home telling me about what she learned --- to say in the least I was very skeptical. (Working in the Corporate World can make you very progmatic.) Curiousity took the best of me, and I decided to take a course myself to see what it was all about. To my surprise I found that Reiki is not only a valid modality of healing, but it works very quickly with little effort if one is open to the process.

Reiki is an excellent course to take for Medical Assistants, Nurse Aides, LVN's, RN's, Massage Therapists, Physical Therapists, and any one else that provides care in the Medical Field. It teaches you how to respectfully separate yourself from your client's emotional/physcial imbalances so that you can provide the highest quality of services.
