Marty Has Been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years and has spent the past 16 years in Private practice utilizing holistic modalities and treatments. In addition to the services she offers, she is a provder of CEU courses for licensed health care professionals. She offers various short courses (4 hours) in alternative/complementary treatment modalities, self care, relaxation, and many more. In addition to her short courses she offers a 100 hour Therapeutic Massage Certificate Training Program for RN's/LPN's. This course is for the working professional occuring once a week for four months. Learn how to integrate the art of Therapeutic Massage into your nursing practice. This course teaches a one hour full body routine using Swedish , range of motion, lymphatic drainage, and stretching principles as well as various treatments for specific injuries and conditions. These courses are approaved through the Kansas State Board of Nursing.

Qualifications
Graduated from Nursing School 1978. Therapeutic Masssage Apprenticeship 1990. Nationally certified in Massage and Bodywork 1994.
Co-founder of the 500hour Therapeutic Massage Program at Johnson County (Kansas)Community College and lead instructor for eight years. Owner/provider for CEU courses for health care providers (various presentations and speaking engagements). Foot care training 1999; owner of Feet First Footcare services at Overland Park Assisted Living Facility (sold practice in 2000). Marty has continued her Nursing Practice since moving to Scottsdale Arizona in 2000.
She worked for one year in a Naturopathic Clinic administering IV Chealation therapy among other Nursing duties. Currently Marty is the Director of Massage Therapy for Innovative Health Solutions and the soon to open (3-07) ReGenesis Holistic center, a full service membership facility providing family practice holistic medicine (focus on natural bio identical hormone replacement for women), Chiropractic, Clinical nutrition, Exercise physiology, Physical therapy and Massage therapy.

Past board member of the National Assiociation of Nurse Massage Therapists (Legislative Director). Past member of the foundation committee for the American Holistic Medical Associaton. Past member of the Kansas City Sports Massage Team. Member and certificate holder of the National Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Member of the Arizona Rhythm Connection and Health Rhythm Team.
Additional Information
Marty is involved in studying and performing West African Drum Rhythms, playing the Djembe and Doun-douns. She is involved with the Arizona Rhythm Connection performing in the ensemble, delivering rhythm parties to corperate and private clients and working on the Health Rhythm Team.
