Hope's first blog ever- July 14, 2006

Okay...I've never done this before, but I'm treating it like a public journal, which is of course what it is. Summer is a slower time. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona where July means not wanting to go out of your house. The car gets so hot just from sitting outside for an hour, that you make every effort possible not to go anywhere if at all possible. But we really can't avoid it. Life definetely slows down here during the summer.
I went to downtown Scottsdale a few weeks ago for a hair cut appointment. My favorite stores down there were closed! That's right...completely closed due to the summer heat. Do you think someone will invent more indoor activities? In a place where the summer days can get to 110 degrees or more, you would think someone would think twice before building all of these oudoor malls! Oh well.
In future blogs I'll be talking about what's going on with me and in the healing arts community. In the meantime, keep cool!
