How Can I Love You More?

By CommunitySoul - Neil Fellowes

This week, as a result of a project I'm working on I had to delve into my past. (And we all know how murky the past can often be!)

To begin with the exercise didn't feel comfortable as I had to recall memories that were behind a door I didn't want to open. But what I found behind that door took me by surprise.

As I began to cruise through the memories I began to see things in my past unfolding with a new light. As I watched them I saw them with love. But as I relived the memories something occurred to me.

The thoughts rolling around in my mind revolved around how things in my past had gone wrong, and how that 'going wrong' had perhaps tarnished my perspective, effecting the way I sometimes think and feel about current situations.

This led me to think about 'now' and how I can fall in love more now and not let past events hold me back. And you can imagine my delight -while holding this intention - as I stumbled across an old M People CD How Can I Love You More?

This led to a couple of things:

1. Continually asking myself when I am with friends and family, how can I love you more? and

2. Allowing moment-to-moment experiences to flow

The second thought came to me while sitting in the garden enjoying the sunshine. It started with a reminder that life is meaningless and empty. When I meditate in this void it allows me to let everything drift away. It gives me ease. It lets the shackles off. It takes any burden off my shoulders. It lets me be! It allows good things to come. It opens my heart.

I had a reminder not so long ago of how good things come when your heart chakra is wide open.

I'd been looking for a specific kind of mentor for a few months and a chain of events unfolded at bewildering speed in one afternoon, revealing a man I'd been seeking.

Prior to being introduced to him I was - in my own mind - in complete bliss, laughing at the way other things in my life had been rapidly unfolding. I was smiling and filled with more (much more) enthusiasm and love than is usual.

That afternoon all the good doors opened.

The point I want to get across today is that the question 'How can I love you more?' can be applied to all the people we meet. It can be applied to situation and it can be a tool to continually evolve life until it has been moulded into the bliss I'm sure you want it to be.

But, please, remember to ask yourself the same question too: how can I love me more?

I hope you'll find today's tips useful.

1. Take a few minutes of quiet time.

2. Repeat life is meaningless and empty.

3. Visualise a black hole.

4. Just sit in the blackness knowing there is nothing else

5. Remember you can come back out of the black hole anytime you want - or go back in!

With Love and good wishes

Neil

inspirational :) though id perhaps feel more comfortable visualising that 'life has meaning and opportunity'
heheh! :) but i understand. All the best in my life has happened with a full flowing heart, so true also that this seems to be when coincedences happen. which leads me to believe life has meaning and show us this through opportunities that follow :)
