What is the missing link to achieving our goals?
The answer is spirituality.
Bringing spirituality into your goal planning can create lightness and joy, and it allows you to flow with your goal achievement rather than struggling uphill to reach a difficult summit. It allows you to recognize the oneness of the Universe; to see that everything is interconnected, even your goals. When you begin to look at your goals in this way, you start enlisting the power of the Universe to guide you along the path to your completed goal.
Begin the spiritual goal planning process by being open, aware and curious. Be aware of what the Universe is telling you and the many gifts it sends your way. Look for synchronicities in your daily life - these little "coincidences" are the Universe's way of nudging you along and bringing you closer to the attainment of your goal. Be open to messages from the Universe that might warn you to take a different path; always follow your gut since it is the portal that receives these important messages.
Remember that God would not have given you this dream if you were not able to achieve it. Along with a dream, He gives you a means to reach it. We all come to this earth with a complete spiritual support system. Children are still connected to their support system because they have no reason to disbelieve, which is why many of them have "imaginary friends." As we get older, society tells us to disregard such information, and so we forget the roots from which we came. We learn to operate from the mind only, and we shut down our intuition and spiritual guidance. Learn to think like a child - open yourself up to the plethora of guidance that is available to you. Ask for assistance and you will receive it.
You can also use the law of attraction to help you reach your goals. The law of attraction is in effect whether we use it to our benefit or not, and the law states that like attracts like. Therefore, what we think about is what we will create in our lives. If you have a goal to loose 20 pounds, but you are always thinking about how fat you are, you will never be able to attract weight loss. Be mindful of your thoughts; make sure they support your goal.
You can learn to eliminate fear and frustration from your life by recognizing the lesson in all mishaps. Don't be so quick to judge others or even yourself. When you do so, you stifle growth. This is an earth school. The reason we are on this planet is to grow and evolve as souls. We are not meant to be perfect on this planet - we are meant to grow into the souls that we are at our core. When you adopt this belief and refrain from judgment, there is no reason to fear or be frustrated because you know that there is a lesson in what you are experiencing and that lesson will bring you further in your evolution as a soul.
Listed below are some practical activities you can do to bring these spiritual goal planning ideas into your daily life. Begin this process and you will manifest your dreams with more ease and joy than you ever thought possible.
1. Keep a running list of lessons learned.
2. Keep a running list of inspired actions (These are the actions you take each day to bring you closer to your goal. Also note what inspired you to take that action.)
3. Keep a running log of new-isms (These are new awarenesses, new thoughts, ah-ha moments and anything that you accomplished that you would normally have thought about or dealt with differently.)
4. Keep a running list of synchronicities (These are "coincidences" that the Universe is rearranging itself to help you attain your goal.)
